P90X

A couple of months ago my sister told me about a new workout system she had been trying. I used it for about 20 minutes and gave up. At that time I was in shape but the workout was still too difficult. After reading some reviews, I have been motivated to try it again. This system is called the P90X. Basically, it is a set of discs with different workouts for everyday of the week.

The results are supposed to be amazing. The pictures in this before and after video are astonishing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tNvhiMH1Ic&feature=related

I worked on three discs today. I used the 15m ab workout. I did about 20m of the cardio disc and the leg work out as well.

I wasn't sure which cd or how many cd's I should be using each day so of course I turned to google. I found this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100409093546AAJkxhf which is a set  schedule that I plan to follow.

I believe this program includes workout sheets and nutrition plans but i've decided not to use the system so strictly for a variety of reasons. I tend to become obsessive about details and a strict routine would drive me insane. Additionally, with school, a nutritional plan would be way too difficult to comply with.

I'm pumped to see results.
WISH ME LUCK!

Ayy_Fit?

4 months. 100 days. 2,400 hours. 144,000 minutes. 8,640,000 seconds. Until Summer. I love summer... but every reminder that the season is inching closer is a reminder that there are pounds to shed. Under no circumstances do I think I'm 'fat' but I could definitely shed some weight.

I want to jump at the opportunity to wear a bikini.

About 2 years ago I lost 20 pounds. The process was long. It took motivation and effort. 2 years later and about 8 pounds greater, I am ready to step back and try this again. The weight I have gained is normal considering I have gotten taller and developed. Regardless, I would love to feel a bit more confident and slimmer

I want to get fit and feel healthy.

Hopefully sharing this with you all will motivate me to work my hardest and stay on track. I will be posting updates with tons of information about exercise, snacks, meals and methods to stay healthy.
